Course Summary

This continuing education course explores thoroughly the topic of clinical supervision and professional development of substance abuse counselors. It is designed for new and experienced supervisors, and other professionals interested in learning more about supervision processes. This learning material is based on SAMHSA TIP 52 published in 2014.  In 2019, Amanda Gilmore, PhD modified the original TIP for Ce4Less learners to include current information on the topics detailed in Clinical Supervision and Professional Development of the Substance Abuse Counselor. These modifications include some text changes and updated citations.
