What else do I need to know?
New York Social Work licenses must be renewed every three years by the licensee’s birth month.
Each renewal cycle, New York Social Workers are required to complete:
- 3 hours in Appropriate Professional Boundaries. You may take our Ethics and Boundary Issues course to satisfy this requirement.
- 3 hours in Identification and Reporting of Child Abuse and Maltreatment. CE4Less is not currently approved to satisfy this requirement though our courses on this topic can apply to your general hours.
