Nevada Marriage and Family Therapist CE Requirements

Nevada MFTs are required to complete 40 hours of approved continuing education every 2 years.

Yes! Nevada MFTs may earn 20 hours through CE4Less.

CE4Less is approved by the American Psychological Association (APA and the National Board of Certified Counselors (NBCC) or continuing education.

Nevada MFTs are required to complete 20 hours in a live seminar or webinar where it is possible to interact with presenter/participants in a synchronous format. Check our synchronous options here.

Nevada MFT licenses must be renewed every 2 years by December 31st.

Each renewal Nevada MFTs must complete:

• 6 hours in Ethics (See our courses in Ethics & Telemental Health and Ethics Boundary Issues)
• 4 hours in Suicide Prevention
• 6 hours in Cultural Competency and Diversity, Equity and Inclusion
• 2 hours in Supervision (Supervisors only)
