Ohio Psychologist CE Requirements

Ohio psychologists are required to complete 23 hours of approved continuing education every 2 years.

Yes! There are no restrictions on the number of hours Ohio psychologists can complete through CE4Less – all 23 hours may be earned through CE4Less.

Ohio accepts courses from any provider approved by the American Psychological Association (“APA”).  CE4Less is approved by the APA to sponsor credit for psychologists, and Ohio accepts our courses for CE credit.

Ohio psychologist licenses must be renewed by August 31st of each even year.

During each renewal period, Ohio psychologists must complete at least 4 hours in one of the following: (i) professional conduct, (ii) ethics, or (iii) the role of culture, ethnic identity, or both in the provision of psychological assessment, consultation, or psyhological interventions, or a combination thereof.
