How many CEs does Rhode Island require?
Rhode Island social workers (LCSW and LICSW) are required to complete 30 hours of approved continuing education every 2 years.
Can I take my CEs from CE4Less?

What else do I need to know?
Rhode Island social work licenses (LCSW and LICSW) must be renewed by April 30 of each odd year.
Each renewal period, Rhode Island social workers (regardless of license type) must complete:
- 3 hours in Ethics (CE4Less offers a number of ethics courses that may be used to satisfy this requirement, including Ethics & Boundary Issues and Ethics & Telemental Health)
- 3 hours in Cross-Cultural Practice, including Alleviation of Oppression
