How many CEs does Massachusetts require?
Massachusetts Counselors are required to complete 30 hours of approved continuing education every 2 years.
Can I take my CEs from CE4Less?

What else do I need to know?
Massachusetts Counselor licenses must be renewed every two years by December 31st on odd years.
Each renewal period Massachusetts Counselors are encouraged to complete:
- 3 hours in Ethics (See our courses in Ethics & Telemental Health and Ethics Boundary Issues)
- 3 hours in Anti-Discrimination
- 3 hours in Supervision
- Domestic and Sexual Violence Training: The Department of Public Health offers the following free course to meet this one-time requirement here.
