South Carolina MFTs are required to complete 40 hours of continuing education every 2 years.

Yes! South Carolina MFTs may earn 15 hours through CE4Less.

What else do I need to know?

South Carolina MFT licenses must be renewed every two years by August 31st on odd years.

Each renewal South Carolina MFTs are required to complete:

• 6 hours in Ethics (See our courses in Ethics & Telemental Health and Ethics Boundary Issues)
• 1 hour in Suicide Assessment, Treatment, and Management Treatment
• 10 hours in Supervision (Supervisors only)
