Can I take my CE from CE4Less?
Yes! Maine social workers can complete up to 10 hours of the total CE requirement during their 2-year licensing period through distance learning courses.

What else do I need to know?
Maine social work licenses must be renewed by December 31st of the year in which they expire.
All Maine social workers (LSX, LSW, LMSW, and LCSW) must complete at least 4 hours in ethics education during each 2-year licensing period. CE4Less offers a number of ethics courses that may be used to satisfy this requirement, including our Ethics & Boundary Issues and Ethics & Telemental Health courses. A full listing of our available ethics courses is available here. Credit earned beyond the minimum 4-hour ethics requirement may be applied to the remainder of the 25-hour biennial requirement.
Maine social workers with a conditional (LSX) license must complete at least 6 hours in ethics (see courses linked above) and at least 6 hours in psychosocial assessment. CE4Less offers a number of courses that may be used to satisfy this requirement, including this course, which is part 2 of a series and covers Social Construction in Assessment and Treatment.
