Wyoming Social Work Courses

Wyoming social workers (LCSW and CSW) are required to complete 45 hours of approved continuing education every 2 years.

Yes! There are no restrictions on the number of hours Wyoming social workers can complete through CE4Less – all 45 hours may be earned through CE4Less.

Wyoming accepts courses from any provider approved by the Association of Social Worker Boards (“ASWB”).  CE4Less.com, provider #1115, is approved to offer social work continuing education by the ASWB as an Approved Continuing Education (“ACE”) provider. Wyoming accepts our courses for CE credit.  CE4Less’ courses count as home study.

Wyoming social work licenses (LCSW and CSW) must be renewed every 2 years by the licensee’s birthdate.

Each renewal period, Wyoming social workers (regardless of license type) must complete:

• 3 hours in Ethics (CE4Less offers a number of ethics courses that may be used to satisfy this requirement, including Ethics & Boundary Issues and Ethics & Telemental Health; a full listing of our ethics courses is available here)  Please note that Wyoming does not allow HIPAA content to count as CE.
• 3 hours in Suicide Assessment or Intervention (CE4Less offers a comprehensive course in Suicide: Assessment, Treatment, and Management that satisfies this requirement)

Hours earned in excess of the stated minimums above may be applied toward the total CE requirement.
