How many CEs does New Jersey require?
New Jersey MFT’s are required to complete 40 hours of approved continuing education every 2 years.
Can I take my CEs from CE4Less?
Yes! New Jersey MFT’s may earn 20 hours through CE4Less.
CE4Less is approved by the American Psychological Association (APA) and the National Board of Certified Counselors (NBCC) to provide continuing education.

New Jersey MFT licenses must be renewed every 2 years by June 30th of even years.
Each renewal New Jersey MFT’s must complete:

- 3 hours in Social and Cultural Competency
