Florida Social Work CE Requirements
How many hours of CE credit does Florida require for social workers?
Florida social workers (LCSWs and CMSWs) are required to complete 30 hours of approved continuing education every 2 years.
Can I take my CE from CE4Less?

What else do I need to know?
CE4Less submits credits to CE Broker (Provider #50-10860)Florida social work licenses must be renewed by March 31st of each odd year. Each renewal, Florida social workers (LCSWs and CMSWs) must complete:
3 hours in Ethics & Boundaries or Telehealth (alternating requirement – social workers must complete these two courses on an alternating basis each 2-year renewal cycle)
2 hours in Medical Error Prevention
Every third renewal, Florida social workers (LCSWs and CMSWs) must complete:
3 hours in Florida Law and Rules
2 hours in Domestic Violence (CE4Less offers a number of other domestic violence courses – available here)
Qualified Supervisors only: 4 hours in Supervisor Training
