Required Courses

- 3 hours in Ethics & Boundaries or Telehealth (these two courses must be completed on an alternating basis each 2-year renewal cycle).
- 2 hours prevention of medical errors every renewal period. Click here for the approved Prevention of Medical Errors course.
- 2 hours domestic violence every 3rd renewal. Click here for a list of Domestic Violence courses.
- Florida Laws and Rules – 3 hours every third biennum after initial licensure, a licensee must complete a 3 hour laws and rules course. Click here for the approved Florida Laws and Rules course.
- Qualified Supervisors only: a 4 hour refresher course in Supervisor Training is required every third biennium
