Mississippi Counselor CE Requirements and Courses

Mississippi Counselors are required to complete 24 hours of approved continuing education every 2 years.

Yes! There are no restrictions on the number of hours Mississippi Counselors can complete through CE4Less – all 24 hours may be earned through CE4Less.

CE4Less is approved by the National Board of Certified Counselors (NBCC) for continuing education.

Mississippi Counselor licenses must be renewed every 2 years by June 30th.

Each renewal period Mississippi Counselors must complete:

• 6 hours in Ethics (See our courses in Ethics & Telemental Health and Ethics Boundary Issues)
• 2 hours in Telemental Health listed as a Distance Professional Services
• 2 hours in Supervision (LPC-S)
