How many CEs does Oklahoma require?
LMFTs must document 20 hours of continuing education including three (3) hours of therapy ethics each year. If you are an approved supervisor you must document three (3) hours of therapy supervision every year.
In August 2024, the BBHL removed the in-person CE requirement for LMFTs. As a result all continuing education, including ethics and supervision hours, can be earned online. In addition, there is no longer a live training requirement, so CEs can be earned from either live or on-demand courses.
Can I take my CEs from CE4Less?
Yes! You can complete all your hours with CE4Less.

What else do I need to know?
The Oklahoma State Board of Behavioral Health Licensure recognizes the APA and the NAADAC. These organizations are pre-approved by the Board to be continuing education providers and do not require any additional review. Additionally, CE4Less is approved by above mentioned accreditors and is also directly listed as an approved provider of BBHL.
