Kansas Marriage and Family Therapist CE Requirements

Kansas MFTs are required to complete 40 hours of approved continuing education every 2 years.

Yes! There are no restrictions on the number of hours Kansas MFTs can complete through CE4Less – all 40 hours may be earned through CE4Less.

CE4Less is approved by the National Board of Cerfitied Counselors (NBCC) for continuing education.

Kansas MFT licenses must be renewed every two years by their licensure date.

Each renewal Kansas MFTs must complete:

• 3 hours in Ethics (See our courses in Ethics & Telemental Health and Ethics Boundary Issues)
• 3 hours in Diagnosis and Treatment of Mental Disorders
