South Carolina Psychologist CE Requirements

South Carolina psychologists are required to complete 24 hours of approved continuing education every 2 years.

Yes! There are no restrictions on the number of hours South Carolina psychologists can complete through CE4Less – all 24 hours may be earned through CE4Less.

South Carolina accepts courses from any provider approved by the American Psychological Association (“APA”).  CE4Less is approved by the APA to sponsor continuing education for psychologists, and South Carolina accepts our courses for CE credit.  CE4Less’ courses count as Category A credit, which may be used to satisfy all required CE.

South Carolina’s current biennial reporting period runs from December 1, 2021 until November 30, 2023.

South Carolina does not have any specific topics or courses that must be completed during a renewal cycle, so psychologists are free to choose any combination of courses to satisfy their requirements.
