What else do I need to know?
Ohio social work licenses (LISW, LSW, and SWA) must be renewed every 2 years by their original date of issuance.
Each renewal period, all Ohio social workers (regardless of license type) must complete 3 hours of ethics education.  CE4Less offers a number of ethics courses that may be used to satisfy this requirement, including our Ethics & Boundary Issues and Ethics & Telemental Health courses. A full listing of our available ethics courses is available here.
For more information, please contact the Ohio Counselor, Social Worker, and Marriage & Family Therapist Board at (614) 466-0912, see their website (available here) for additional information about your license or renewal requirements, or see Ohio’s rules and regulations relating to social work licensure and continuing education.
