How many CEs does Georgia require?
Georgia MFTs are required to take 35 hours of approved continuing education every 2 years.
Can I take my CEs from CE4Less?
Yes! Georgia MFTs may earn up to 10 hours through CE4Less asynchronous offerings.
CE4Less is approved by the American Psychological Association (APA), Association of Social Work Boards (ASWB), and the National Board of Certified Counselors (NBCC) for continuing education.

What else do I need to know?
Georgia MFT licenses must be renewed every two years by September 30th of even years.
Each renewal period Georgia MFTs must complete 5 hours of Ethics. Ethics hours shall be obtained through synchronous activities only. Check out our options here.
A minimum of fifteen (15) shall be core hours (i.e., marriage and family therapy content) and not more than fifteen (15) shall be related hours.
