How many CEs does Michigan require?
Michigan MFTs are not required to complete any ongoing continuing education but 1 hour of Implicit Bias training for each year of the license or registration cycle and a one-time course o Victims of Human Trafficking are required. See the board website for more information.
Can I take my CEs from CE4Less?
Michigan MFTs can take both required courses through CE4Less.
CE4Less is approved by the National Board of Certified Counselors (NBCC) to provide continuing education.

Michigan MFT licenses are renewed every 3 years by licensure date.
Each renewal period Michigan MFTs must complete 3 hours of Implicit Bias Training.
Michigan MFTs are required to complete a one-time course on Victims of Human Trafficking.
