How many hours of CE credit does West Virginia require for social workers?
West Virginia social workers (LBSW, LMSW, LICSW, LICSW-PIP, and LGSW) are required to complete 30 hours of approved continuing education every 2 years.
Can I take my CEs from CE4Less?

West Virginia social work licenses (LBSW, LMSW, LICSW, LICSW-PIP, and LGSW) must be renewed every 2 years by their date of issuance.
Each renewal cycle, Virginia social workers (regardless of license type) must complete:
- 2 hours in mental health conditions specific to veterans and family members of veterans (CE4Less offers a course in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Treatment For Veterans And Military Service Members With PTSD that satisfies this requirement)

Hours earned in excess of the minimums above may be applied toward the overall CE requirement.
