Arizona Psychologist CE Requirements

Arizona psychologists are required to complete 40 hours of approved continuing education during each 2-year licensure period.

Yes! There are no restrictions on the number of hours Arizona psychologists can complete through CE4Less – all 40 hours may be earned through CE4Less.

Arizona accepts all courses offered by providers approved by the American Psychological Association (“APA”) for credit.  CE4Less is approved by the APA to sponsor continuing education for psychologists, and there are no restrictions on the number of hours of credit that can be earned through CE4Less.

Arizona psychology licenses must be renewed every two years. Licenses expire at the end of the birth month of the license-holder, with even-numbered licenses expiring in even years and odd-numbered licenses expiring in odd years.

During each two-year renewal cycle, Arizona psychologists must complete at least:

4 hours of Professional Ethics, and

4 hours of Domestic Violence or Child Abuse education
