How many CEs does Minnesota require?
Minnesota MFTs are required to complete 40 hours of continuing education every 2 years.
Can I take my CEs from CE4Less?
Yes! Minnesota MFTs can complete all 40 hours through CE4Less. (Note: The Minnesota Board of Marriage and Family Therapy requires that licensees apply individually for approval of these continuing education activities. This can be done here.)Â

What else do I need to know?
Minnesota MFTs are required to complete 40 hours of continuing education every 2 year, which includes:
- 3 hours of ethics
- 4 hours of cultural competency
- 4 hours of supervision (for those holding the MN LMFT Board-Approved Supervisor status)
