How many CEs does New York require?
New York Counselors are required to complete 36 hours of approved continuing education every 3 years.
Can I take my CEs from CE4Less?
Yes! New York Counselors may earn 12 hours through CE4Less.

What else do I need to know?
New York Counselor licenses must be renewed every three years by their birth month.
Each renewal New York Counselors must complete:
- 3 hours in Professional Boundaries
- 2 hours in Identification and Reporting of Child Abuse and Maltreatment
