Colorado Psychologist CE Requirements
How many hours of CE credit does Colorado require for psychologists?
Colorado psychologists are required to complete 40 hours of approved continuing education during each 2-year licensure period.Â
Colorado Continuing Professional Development (“CPD”) requirements refer to requirements in Professional Development Hours (“PDH”), where 1 PDH is equivalent to 1 hour of CE credit.
Can I take my CE from CE4Less?
There are no restrictions on the number of hours Colorado psychologists can complete through CE4Less – all 40 hours may be earned through CE4Less.
Our Unlimited Plan is a great option for psychologists who want to satisfy all their continuing education requirements for one low price! Check out our options here.
What else do I need to know?
Colorado psychology licenses must be renewed by August 31st in each odd year.
Colorado psychologists must complete at least 3 hours of professional ethics each 2-year licensing period. CE4Less offers an APA Ethics Code course that satisfies this requirement.
Please contact the Colorado Board of Psychology Examiners at (303) 894-7800, see their website (available here), see the Colorado Psychologist Examiners rules and regulations for additional information about your license or renewal requirements, or see the Colorado Psychologist Continuing Professional Development (“CPD”) Manual.
