Arizona social work licenses must be renewed every two years from their initial issuance date.
Each renewal cycle, Arizona social workers (LBSW, LMSW, and LCSW) are required to complete:
- 3 hours in Ethics (See our courses in Ethics & Telemental Health and Ethics & Boundary Issues)
- 3 hours in Cultural Competency & Diversity
- 3 hours in Arizona Statutes/Regulations approved by the Arizona Board of Behavioral Health Examiners
