Oklahoma Social Work CE Requirements

Oklahoma social workers (LSW, LSW-ADM, LSWA, LCSW, and LMSW) are required to complete 16 hours of approved continuing education per year.

Yes! Oklahoma social workers can complete up to 8 hours of the total CE requirement each year through Category III credit.

Oklahoma accepts courses from any provider approved by the Association of Social Worker Boards (“ASWB”).  CE4Less.com, provider #1115, is approved to offer social work continuing education by the ASWB as an Approved Continuing Education (“ACE”) provider. Oklahoma accepts our courses for CE credit.  CE4Less’ courses count as Category III credit.

Oklahoma social work licenses (LSW, LSW-ADM, LSWA, LCSW, and LMSW) must be renewed by December 1 of each year.

Each year, Oklahoma social workers (regardless of license type) must complete 3 hours of ethics education.
