About EMDR Training at AATBS
Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) is a widely recognized, evidence-based psychotherapy approach used in the treatment of trauma, PTSD, and other distressing life experiences. This EMDR Basic Training meets professional training standards and provides the foundational education required to begin practicing EMDR therapy responsibly and ethically.
Program Includes:
- 20+ hours of instruction
Course material includes classroom lecture, demonstrations, exercises, and videos delivered online via Zoom. - 20+ hours of small group supervised practice
Participants actively practice EMDR techniques in small groups under the supervision of EMDRIA-approved consultants. - 10 hours of group consultation sessions
Required consultation hours with EMDRIA-approved consultants are included with the course. - 40 APA-approved CE hours
AATBS is approved by the American Psychological Association (APA) to sponsor continuing education for psychologists. - Certificate of Completion
Upon successful completion of EMDR Basic Training, you will receive a Certificate of Completion verifying that you have completed an EMDRIA-approved EMDR Basic Training. You may apply for EMDRIA Certification through EMDRIA after completing basic training.
